Product Description

Hello, welcome to Gold Hill Glamping, which is based at Allan’s Farm, a working dairy farm and our family home. You are likely to see the cows coming in for milking twice a day. There are farm ponies that like a stroke, and there are usually fresh farm eggs available to buy if you wish. Wildlife is in abundance here. Deer and hares are regular visitors and different species of owl can be heard hooting behind the Glamping fields.

Comfortable double bed and two single futon-style beds (The double bed will be fully furnished with bedding, please bring bedding for children sleeping on the futons).

Beautifully located with remarkable views across the rolling hills of the stunning Dorset countryside, just a few minutes by car to Shaftesbury.

Crockery, BBQ tools, cutlery, cool box, ice packs, solar powered lanterns, fairy lights, outside table and chairs and a fire pit.

Willow Bell tent is located at the top of a secluded three-acre field. Part of which will be fenced off to offer accommodation for visiting horses and ponies! The remainder of the field will be your garden and / or playground for the duration of your stay. There is plenty of room for children to play or for adults to sit and take in the views of the rolling Dorset Hills. We are happy for you to pitch an extra tent for children / teenagers etc (fees apply).

Evenings at Gold Hill Glamping may be enjoyed around the firepit, barbequing, toasting marshmallows and enjoying the star filled sky. We recommend ending the evening by snuggling up in the fairy lit tent, gazing out at the scenery, as the dusk welcomes the stars.

Ideally located in the scenic Dorset countryside, Gold Hill Glamping is surrounded by woodland. There are lots of things to do in the area and there are many idyllic walks directly from the bell tent. There is also a ‘secret’ forest school play area, a short walk from the Glamping fields. Truly stunning in bluebell season (end of April/early May) and rather beautiful all year round. Children can play in the mud kitchen, paddle in the tiny stream, or play hide and seek in the dens. There are also a few fairy doors hidden in the trees and rope tree swings for the more adventurous. This little forest used to be a forest school, but is now available for our Glampers to enjoy.
